Ok so this box was made on a weekend of sheer boredom. I tried to capture the "sumi-e" cell-shaded/grungy look of the trailer, which I think I pulled off. It was supposed to be a lot plainer, but then I ended putting a lot of detail in to it.
Fantastic front cover... love it (as mentioned in your WIP thread).. however, have to agree with certain members about the back been a bit plain.. would have been nice to have Zangief, Dhalsim and that new female character on the back.. plus more of that ink as in the front. Also, did IGN really give that quote -- "The perfect sequel to Street Fighter II" ? Isn't sequel to SFII... SFIII? ;)
I didn't want to put more screens below ryu's face or more renders - it would just be too crowded and that's not my style (I like minimal backs)
#12, I said sequel to Street fighter II, because it is my personal fav in the series and from the sound of the previews inafune (the producer) wants the game to be more similar to SFII (and thus the original 8 being in it). :)
