Ok peopleÂ…this is what I consider my finest boxart to date.
As this is a special box, I need to give a bit of a talk.
Ever since I finished my quartet series last summer, I had a pang of guilt that I didn’t do enough justice to my my current favourite game of all time – MGS3. So Going back, and re-doubling the amount of effort I’ve ever spent on a box (the presentation BG took 1.5 hours alone!). Detail, Blending, color correction, rendering shinkawa artwork, countless hours of airbrushing – as a boxartist this box took me to the limit!, every background is made from scratch with intricate detail of that seen in the game. My photoshop was crashing towards the final hour – it just couldn’t take it anymore – but I kept pushing it!
I hope you enjoy this, as I literally put my heart and soul to this box (as MGS3 holds a special position in my heart too!)
P.S. – This also happens to be my comp box against hunter (officially :p)
..................................................................................................................................................................................................................I love you.
Great box matey... everything works together well... only thing I'm not too great on is the screenshots... they are a bit...erm.. blobby.. if you know what I mean -- LOL -- anyway, excellent! ;)
This one is great :)
But I must agree with MARKER. I don't realy like screenshots too. I'm not a fan of... hm... unstable shape of the screenshots (o.O)
But it's just me %)

On my last MGS3 box, I spent too much time on the thinking of the idea than the box. This time, I spent more time on composition and actually making the box - and went for the green-brownish camouflage look of the game's trailers.
pretty darn original.once more,that is.

@7/8, I wanted to make them look as though they were behind the background, when ripped. Sort of how was done on the official.
Everyone else, thanks for comments and favs! :)
