G'day!

Well its been a few months since my last submission and i was suppose to do a Collab with Rossagues, but unfortunatly he's pretty busy at the moment with study, and being the photoshop-aholic that i am, i couldn't help myself, and decided to make an album cover of one of my favourite bands of all time, Rage Against The Machine. When i went to do this box, i really wnated to get some powerful yet relative images on the cover

I spent a bit of time gathering these pics and aging some of them (some of them didn't need it at all) and tried to keep the same look and tone among the images. Some required a bit of shrapening as they weren't quite as as i needed them to be, others needed removal of other bands lyircs (top right hand corner "Klan Silencer" is form Nailbomb's 'Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide').

All of these pictures, in some sort of way not only demostrate different ways people have "raged against the machine", it also relates to RATM's deep, cryptic lyrics is one perspective or another. Kept the 'self immolation monk' photo as it really is one of the most powerful images of last century and honoured the 'EZLN/red flag' in a splattered paint type style.

On the back, i just made a quick sequence of two of the front images, 'tank man' and again, the 'self immolation monk'. Again with the splattered red star and use of old skool label maker style labels. Sticky tape on the edges to add a bit of flavour (front and back).

And of course, who can go past vinyl?!

Anyway, i hope you like it, i had a blast making it and learn't a lot in the process.

Its another big one but please, full view, and please leave your comments.

An LP??? I love vinyl.

Just excellent and official looking. I love both the execution as well as the ideas behind it. I'm far from having the eye of a professional photographer, but the work you did with the photos is very convincing and seamless. Everything else, the contrast of grayscale with the red star, the wall, the fonts, all fit very well.

And the vinyl itself looks great too. Outstanding.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it. I'm very tempted to do a 'Evil Empire' one so be sure to look out for it!

#5 new album, that would be sweet. Last i heard they just wanted to tour but a new album would be the bomb!
