Looks amazing. I love the backs of "-Zero" and "-4". I absolutely love what you did with the front of "Resident Evil". The front of "-Zero" just, 'fits'. The rest looks a little bland though.

I love the whole effort you've put into this and all the boxes are different rather than what most people would've done by just changing a few things and keeping the layout but you've done this magnificently.
#6, Yea 2 and 3 I tried as much as possible to make them look different. Like 2 I put a grunge texture instead of the door there and I made his Eye look more scarier. Capcom did not release enough art for the third game.
The back of Resident Evil Zero look exactly like the official back of REmake. The rest are all looking good though, I like the front of REmake the most.
#15 my GOD you're right! still JevanGod, this is too epic, makes me wanna get Nemesis for the Cube even more! (I wont need 2 or 4, dont see the point in getting them in duplicate lol, but Nemesis is my favourite game EVER!)
#18, EVERY RE fan should know about CVX hell, thats the one that nearly every I know who has played a RE has played! hell I've even got 2 versions! the DreamCast version and the PS2 version! (couldnt aquire a Cube one for cheap enough)
I understand what you're saying. But let's be honest for a minute. Code: V fits into the theme and storyline better than 4 or 5. Amiright? (Not saying 4 or 5 are bad games, they just went in a different direction ... scratch that I'll go ahead and say 5's a bad game I didn't really like it to much. 4's still great though.)

#19, 2 and 4 are some of the most important games in the series. I mean 2 you got to see two different sides of the story. 4 you got to see a new type of virus. Nemesis was a really short game. Actually the shortest in the series. Only took me like 2 hours to beat it and I got confused so many times in the game.
Yea I know RE fans know it, I meant people who arent familiar with the series.
#20, Yea I know 5 was bad. I was very disappointed by that game. But CVX didnt have anything important besides the Veronica virus which was destroyed. Plus the only important thing that was in the game was seeing Wesker was alive. So CVX really wasnt much different from RE3:nemesis. I mean Jill kept meeting up with Carlos and the same with Claire and Steve.
#21 well Ive already got them on PSX and PS2, I actually have basically all the RE's main series (if you disregard the Wii's chronicles) I have 0,REmake,1 (in the process of getting Directors Cut),2,3,CV,CVX,$ ltd Ed, and 5, I alos have all 4 movies and the 2 outbreaks as well as an Umbrella clock lol and the fact the cheapest I can get 2+4 are like £12 maybe at £10 at best lol, but I found RE3 on Amazon for like £7 lol
#23, Yea I played almost all of them except the dumb ones that are hard to find like RE survivor, and code veronica survivor 2. I played RE0, 1,2,3,4,5, code veronica, coder veronica X. Basically all the ones that needed to be played to know the series completly.
#21, Code Veronica was VERY important. How so? Chris found Claire. If people played 0-5 without Code Veronica, they'd wonder what the hell Claire was up to. They'd probably think she were dead.
And Survivor was not dumb... If Survivor = dumb, then Umbrella Chronicles = dumber.
#25, Hmmmmm no. Ever heard of Degeneration? First CGI movie with Claire and Leon in 2005 after code veronica. Survivor was dumb. It was one of the least bought games in the series. Umbrella Chronicles is a rail shooter which is wayyy better than a first person in RE case. Survivor made no sense. I mean a guy who lost his memory and wakes up in Raccoon City filled with zombies. Thats dumb.

The covers all look too similar apart from Zero and 4.

Anyway, I have -and completed- them all except the ones not released in America, and I gotta say, they're all good except for the Outbreaks [Which were very boring] and 5 which was too much like 4. And the mobile ones are 'OK'.
#33, Wow, Jevangod coming up with excuses? New and exciting. If the games didn't release enough content for you, then MAKE SOME. We're a community of ARTISTS. Our roles depend on being creative and resourceful. "The games didn't give me enough wallpapers to use" isn't an excuse for what may or may not be a flawed design.
As for the box itself, it's easily, hands-down, your best work. The only flaw that really stood out for me was Leon's laser on the back of the RE4 box. Lasers aren't solid like that. You'd have been much better off using multiple layers with different opacity levels and various breaks in the line, to make it look as if something like dust or fog were allowing it to become visible.
Don't you ever get tired of doing Resident Evil, though? I mean, I love the shit out of Sonic the Hedgehog, but I can't imagine doing more than a few covers without it getting stale, and I'm the type of person who eats the same thing lunch every day.

The RE4 laser thing was actually solid like that in the picture.

#46, Wasa-bi's Resident Evil Gaiden box is easily one of the most creative and resourceful boxes on the entire site. Lots of us, not just Jevangod, could learn to be as resourceful as he is.
You don't have to use action figures. There are free 3D posing programs floating around on the internet as well as official in-game models available. I've been considering using Garry's Mod in order to create a cover for a while now.
The resources are there. You just have to stop allowing yourself to be spoon-fed by using official content released by the developers. There's nothing wrong with slapping a few character images on top of a pretty background and calling it "art," but why not challenge yourself? Why not try making a box without using any pre-made images?
You'll grow that way, something I think Jevangod would REALLY benefit from. Sure he's great at making Resident Evil boxes, but it's all he does. It's hindering his abilities.
#48, Really really the best thing ive ever heard you say. Well your right. But you have to think about it I have been creative. Look at my Biohazard movie. I used old resources of chris's body and put the top part of his body from RE5. Than in my Biohazard 6 box I used Leon's full body and made it into Steve's from Code veronica.
#49, That's decent, but pretty small steps. I think you could do a lot better than recoloring Leon so that he almost looks like Steve. (I thought it was Leon wearing different colored clothes.)
#50, Yea but I tried to make everything look good. Like make the graphics better so it would look like PS3 and all. How come you dont try some of the stuff your giving me advice on, on some of your boxes? I mean I havent seen a box from you in a while.
#51, I've had ideas here and there, but ultimately not enough time or patience to make them.
As for "following my own advice," I only have 2-3 boxes that I've actually used pre-made images on. On nearly every box I've made I do the artwork or images from scratch. I, in no way, rely on what material the internet gives me. I find material that supports my ideas, not the other way around.
wow! I did a double take and thought that Zero and RE1 were just the normal covers, so I went to my collection and looked, and not only are they different, but I think they're MUCH better than the originals too! Especially RE1!
However, that being said, while I love 0-2, 3 just doesn't fit imo. The classic red lettering and white spine I think need an update to fit the rest of this "collection". Why not use the font from the PS1 release? it's a little more dynamic and might fit with the others a little more nicely. Also, I think the cover for 4 could without Ashely in the front, she seemed out of place and very photoshopped.
But as a whole these ROCK and I love them! Good job!
