I wanted to do a CD case, so I picked a band I thought would be most appropriate for the site. I know most of you haven't a clue who Fleet Foxes are, but they're an amazing group. The cool thing is that they credit Final Fantasy games as one of the biggest influences on their music. It really shows through certain tracks, too.
Anyway, so, in honor of Fleet Foxes, their incredibly harmonic melodies, and their imaginable influences....
Hmm...I don't think this represents their music very well, to be honest. They credit Final Fantasy as an influence, but this record is not a Final Fantasy-inspired concept album. Even if it was, I don't think they would make that so obvious.
#2, Um... Does that actually matter, though? You're taking this WAY too seriously. This was just for fun!
Anyway, I know all about their album, and you can notice the influence easily enough if you're actually listening to it. I had the album on repeat while I made this - from concept to reality. This is what it led me to, so this is what you get.
Honestly, I just wanted to make an album cover using all video game material. I'm gonna do it again, too.
Next time I'll name it appropriately, though.
Just think of this work as "Fleet Foxes vs Final Fantasy." ;)
Please, view the full version so you can see the awesome detail in the texture of the cd cover. Its actually watercolor on canvas. I just realized you can't see it from the quick view screen. Hope not too many of you are missing it.
