Nice work here... I think you've got a special talent in experiencing fresh designs, but also in succeding at it. Actually it is very difficult to find new ideas and get a good result... Most people just get stuck in the same style and can't try different things.
I always love your works, they stand well out from the crowd and carry their own persona, not to mention being highly original and pleasing to the eye.
Some day, i hope to have the same talent and insight as you. Well done my friend.
Wow, thanks for the very humbling comments, especially Indexenos and Reza. I am always fascinated by different art movements/styles and try to incoporate or "adapt" [hence the "adapted by" ;)] some different style into my design.
I'm looking forward to design more for the upcoming expression sessions too.
Wow, one of the best in the session. The blue really flows throughout the entire box, while not being overdone. I love what you did with the lines coming out of the trumpet and integrating them with the song titles. Really awesome job!
A bit of a last second entry, so hopefully you expression folks wont mind.
Kind of Blue is the album that got me into Miles Davis and subsequently Jazz.
All of the artwork on the box was made on illustrator, except the harlem photo which makes up Miles's skin. Enjoy.

Exquisite! This album, along with 'Round About Midnight, were the albums that got me into jazz.

Amazing work sir, and I'm glad to see you participate in the first session.
I particularity like the mellow art quality, and flow of the design from the front to back. it somehow really compliments the mood of the music.
