Okay, so my whole goal for this box was to make something unique for Call of Duty. I know what the usual FPS box looks like, but I wanted to think a little outside the box and do something different. After searching for some resources, I stumbled across inspiration and one week later, here's the finished product. It all started with the dog tags and snowballed from there. I tried to use some images symbolic of the Cold War (Hammer and Sickle, draft letter) and all images symbolic of war. I also wanted this to be really grungy and dirty and thankfully I had all the textures I need to do that. I'm 100% satisfied with the end result and I hope you all like it too.
Like I said, this box took me a week to complete so if I forget to credit you, it's not on purpose so just drop a comment reminding me. If I'm not mistaken, I got the game's logo from TwistRox, the Treyarch logo from Spiderpig24, the template from deiviuxs, the Activision, Blu-Ray and Dobly logos from Brands of the World, and everything else from Google Images. I cannot even begin to tell you how invaluable the WIP thread; thanks guys you saved this box from being just another average design by me.
I think I've said my piece. Comment and favs are already appreciated.
you certainly nailed the back brilliantly, the front also rocks, the only problem for me is that the envelope is a little bit big in my eyes, but a brilliant box besides.
Where to start...
