I did (I ended up taking it out and using a Metroid box instead, though. I might still change my mind about that. Feel free to check it out and give me your input.)
I love that this uses the traditional Nintendo template but recolors it to fit with the authentic "gold box" look that Zelda games tend to use. I think it looks great, and kudos to you for using some of the original artwork for the game. I also love the crest in the corner.
The handwriting font on the back is really weird and out of place, though.
This is, in my opinion, one of the most impressive entries in the series so far.
#2, the only reason I went with the cursive tagline was to match the logo, but I agree that it came out rather out of place. I might fix it if I can find a more suitable handwritten font. And thank you for the positive feedback.
Nice, nice. Liking the changes you made to the template to set it apart from the normal. Not sure if I like the artwork used on the back, but the box overall is good.
It is a very simple box, overall. But even so, it works for Zelda. You also incorporated some modern design elements that would probably not have been seen back in the day. (Like the opaque image on the back). That adds a lot to the box, and makes it feel retro, with a hint of modern. Works well!
I was surprised that nobody made a Zelda cover for Round 2 of the VGBA Cup. Anyway, this is my submission, and I had a lot of fun making it, enjoy!

I agree with TheSlyder. If you used a better cursive font on the back I would totally favorite this.

Updated with a new tagline font.
EDIT: Updated the cover again, with a final font choice. I'm sticking with this one.

I don't like this font either. You need to find a cursive font, not just a handwritten font.
EDIT: Also not big on this font. You need to find a font that looks at least somewhat similar to the cursive on the logo. Use daFont if you have to.

It's better, it looks less "school can be fun" and more appropriate, but it's borderline illegible.
I know how tedious editing and updating boxes can be, so I don't blame you for sticking with it, though.

I really like the box, but the font on the back kind of throws it off. Other than, I really enjoy it. Good job.

FINAL update. I've dropped the cursive font entirely and settled on a more fitting font. Hope this one suffices. Enjoy!

Front is pretty cool, I just don't like the artwork on the back too much. Anyway, nice work!

Have you tried saturating the screen shots to match the rest of the box? It could and couldn't work.

It's like a mix of the original box and then some. I like

So... Round 2 is about NES classics?
Your box is just awesome! Way better than the original IMO.

I'm glad to see you fixed what needed to be fixed. This is definitely one of the strongest pieces this round, in my opinion.
