The splatter/brush stroke concept is a good one, works well with the game, but this design looks unfinished. This is made pretty clear through lacking text of any kind, synopsis or not. The front has an atmospheric air to it, although I'm not sure you did much (if anything) to differentiate it from the original artwork.
There's also a notable slide in image quality, a number of the characters looking grainy and distorted. If you look hard enough, you'll be sure to find high quality versions of these images. Crisp and clear image quality can be just as important as the layout itself.
It's not bad looking, but more could be done, especially with the back.
