Metal Gear has a history of stylish covers. Until MGS4 that is. The original box art was UGLY as sin. Something had to be done about it.

I prefer the painted art style used in many Metal Gear box arts, and tried to recreate that style here.

Credit has to go to MattStar since I used the legal text from his box (such a pain to rewrite all that stuff). Also his design for MGS4 is also excellent and partially inspired elements of my box (namely the black BG with white brush strokes). So check it out if you have not seen it -

Really excellent work! Some might be turned off, though, by the lack of presentation. I see past that, though, and see what could have been the official artwork. Not a fan of the black border on the logo, though. Great job.

Thanks guys. Taking Vegas487's advice I have redone the logo's without the black outline. I agree, this looks better.
