chernobyl is a place in russia, that had a nuclear reactor meltdown, sppilt loads of radiation and had to be evacuated. the peaople who were exposed to the radiation are rumoured to have mutated

#6 that is fact, the area around the Nuclear Plant is barren for 5 miles and theres a huge concrete dome around the reactor, and yeh it was rumoured that people within around a mile (give or take) who were directly exposed to radiation where mutated, just looks at what happened at Hiroshima in WWII after they used the atom bomb.

You have not absolutely correctly told about Chernobyl. Chernobyl is not in Russia, it is in Ukraine. On April, 26th 1986 On the fourth power unit there was a fire. There was improbably huge emission of radiation in an atmosphere. On fire extinguishing thousand firemen, miners have been collected. The city of Pripyat have started to evacuate. But radioactive cloud was in size with a half of the Europe ;) On May, 1st passed parade in Kiev (capital of Ukraine), but nobody knew about Chernobyl. Thousand children send on streets to meet parade.

Later the fourth power unit it has been closed in a sarcophagus. Now there each centimeter of a surface is radioactive. The whole city empty, in it does not live any human soul. The power unit is closed by a sarcophagus (it can be seen on screenshots), what reactions occur under a sarcophagus it is not known. The government every year asks the European organizations to give money for construction of a new sarcophagus since old is in an awful condition.

In Pripyat there are no mutants. Only worms there greater. 99 % of everyone who extinguished a fire now have died... The Part of radiation has extended and to all Ukraine, Russia and the countries, being beside. In the same Kiev where I live, a level of radiation hardly above norm, but it is not terrible.

This all - the real history which, I thought, knows all world:) Explosion on the Chernobyl atomic power station in hundreds times exceeds Hiroshima and Nagasaki. On a plot game, in 2006 or in 2008 on the Chernobyl atomic power station occurs the second explosion. In a year or two there go the first expeditions and hunters behind a profit - stalkers.

I shall repeat, that people not mutated. During suppression of fires many firemen got in the kernel of a reactor. The level of radiation there in thousand times exceeds a normal level. They instantly were lost. Any mutations as we have got used to see at cinema or in games was not. As a matter of fact, radiation had been irradiated all inhabitants of Ukraine. Someone is more, someone is less. In Ukraine such illness, as increase in a thyroid gland is widespread. It is illness not èçëå÷èìà and conducts to infringement of hormonal exchanges.

I simply live in the country where there was this accident and I know about it enough and to me it is not so pleasant, that many of you think, that it was not in general:) And what is the nobility not it is necessary to have A++ on history. It as acts of terrorism on September, 11th... I have thought, that my history is so small digression to history of Ukraine (not Russia) in your life, that to you it will not prevent;) forgive, if the text has appeared for you too big.
