Hi all,
This looks like a very fun game, I cant wait for it. So to get me hyped up I decided to make a case for it. I had a lot of fun making this case and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.

Hi Vince, lovely work here - I agree that it's one of your best! If the PS4 logo was slightly more proportionate on the front - I understand that you're trying to bring out the awesomeness that the front has :D - as well as the other logos on there, and maybe even an age rating? If so, then this would be the box art perfected to reflect what you can really do :D.
The back is lacking some text but the look of it all is so aesthetically great that it makes up for it.

Thanks for the good feedback. By saying if the ps4 was more proportionate? Do you mean size wise compared to the box? I have started making pslogos smaller so the design is more prominent.
As for an age rating. I hate those logos with a passion so I do not put them in my cases anymore. If I was making an "official" looking cover I would. But I make cases for my collection so I put what I think looks nice rather than official junk...

@Vince_1990 No problem, happy to give my opinion.
Fair enough with the age rating thing, in my head I could see one certificate at the bottom part of the spine and another where the Turtle Rock Studios logo is, with the TRS logo put with the 2K Games logo, but I completely respect where you're coming from with the authenticity :).
I'm getting that you don't want to change anything, so I guess we'll have to wait until I have Photoshop :D.

I really don't want to be overcritical, but I don't agree at all with the praise of the others. It is just the official artwork slapped on a cover... And not really good imho. I'm really sorry, but I can justify :D
On the front, the monster doesn't look at the hunters. The shadowing on the monster isn't adjusted either (it's from the original keyart), which therefore (as well as the look) seems kind of off because it is too lighted on the body whereas the hunters aren't lighted at all.
The logos on the front seem randomized at left and right, I think both on the left would have been better and like that you could have focussed on the monster a bit more (in that red like with the dark background it kind of disappears).
On the back it's again just artwork (this time from the homepage) slapped on to the same background. The monster totally disappears because it's too dark. The choice of font and all capitals isn't good imo, because it is very hard to read and doesn't fit the style of the original font. (official would be UnicodeSans). I'm not a fan of the melted screenshots either - the style of the box doesn't need any at all if you ask me.
All in all it is too much official artwork, official colour without great concept. It's slapped together. I don't really understand this, because you are definitely capable of better designs :)

The renders are official but have all been cut out by me the background isn't even from evolve its just of a dark couldy forest. I have played around with the contrast and vibrancy of all renders on front and back. Logos on the front see my above comment and As for the font it fits the logo of evolve. The monsters I wanted in the shadow of the forest like they are waiting to the moment to get the hunters
Can you show me the official artwork if I have just stolen it?

I don't mean "stolen". I just mean taken and slapped on. The artwork exists on numerous websites with transparent background and "cutting out" some artwork is not the greatest effort of them all, isn't it? ;)
You've made your point clear and that's okay. Don't take my criticism personal or anything. I'm better at criticising than I am in making good boxes myself, so don't worry about it ;)

@XBU Philippe So make boxes but dont use "Official" things that are used by the game itself? Like the colours or pictures that are on websites? When I dont go on any site apart from Google Images. Do you have all these numerous websites to link?
Im just saying your main point is that its all offical artwork when its not. I dont mind criticism but don't make stuff up. Like I said I have used offical renders etc that I have cut out to put in different places different backgrounds and played with in Photoshop etc. But once someone does that its not offical...

@XBU Philippe vs. Vince_1990 Whatever point XBU Philippe was trying to make, and even it had been a valid one, this Evolve box art is by far the best on the site. And as established by TheTombRaider, was XBU Philippe being hypocritical for the sake of an argument? Does one not simply think before writing 246 words of drivel? This box art submission is sound, and anyone who states otherwise would need to point out something better than that :D.
