Currently playing this PS classic, diggin' it a lot - pretty sure I like it better than FFVIII. Prettaaay, prettaaayyy, pretty sure.
I was trying pretty hard, as I always do, to capture the "feel" of the game and stuff, and as there are very few resources for FFVII other than character artwork, it wasn't the easiest job, but I feel like just having Sephiroth and Cloud there with the high contrast was the right call.

Comment on Sven's Final Fantasy VII Box Art / Cover.
It definitely conveys the classic look of PS1 titles. I think you did a good job. I think the only nitpick I have is the hyphen in the summary I see for "granting". It sticks out like a sore thumb. If you kern the letters just right, I think you can fix that problem.

You're right, it does stick out. I tried kerning the letters but there doesn't seem to be a way around the hyphen =/ Anyway, thanks man!
