Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters box art cover
By avatar Lunatics 30 on April 26th, 2016

A cover for Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, part of a series for the Ratchet & Clank games named Raritanium Editions, with simple, recognizable designs from the games. KBABZ worked on the primary design and assembly whilst HowXu made the vector High Impact logo, the game logo and the emblem, which is the Shrink Ray gadget.

For this cover, the colours are meant to link to the HUD colours of grey and yellow. The tagline is from the EU cover, while the blurb is a combination of those used on the US and EU covers.

NOTE: It is recommended these covers be printed on gloss paper, with a mid to high range printer. Tweaking of the contrast may be necessary depending on your printer.

All your cases look the same... A icon on the front, and the same structure on the back. "Tag line, screenshot, blurb, screenshot."

I quite liked the look of this, but it doesn't seem like you have put much effort into the design, looking back to your older cases. Seems you are doing is the same as you have done 12 other times... A once off design like this I might have faved but not this recycled design.

I would recommend trying to do something a bit more creative and out of your comfort zone for your next design. But then again, if you are happy with what your doing then thats fine too. Just my opinion.

i feel like they are probably making these for a personal collection and want each box in the collection to synergize together.

@Paper true but you can make designs look different while being part of the same collection. These look too similar if you ask me.

They're meant to look consistent, the idea being that they could all be part of some big Collector's Bundle or something similar. I'm not trying to be a box art making connoisseur or anything!
