You know, not my favorite of yours but I kind of like the effect you created. Just wish there was some contrast to it. My biggest complaint however, is the fact you squeezed the ps4 logo, Bethesda, and the rating into one corner. It made it very cluttered and make it read weird (at first glance, I read it as 'The PS4 Evil Within 2'. I'd consider shifting at least those things around.
I do like the texture of this. It's gritty and works well with the series. Good job with that.

So your biggest problem with it is on the way I put logos on the front ?
If you pay attention to the fonts you would read it as well.
[ Reply ]
@iman pro it's not a problem, it's called 'constructive criticism' get over it.

Completely agreed, also not a fan of the font used for the tagline, seems a bit cheesy compared to the rest of the imagery. Other than that, it's good.

@FrankBedbroken I used original logo. and tried to put logos closer to make a difference this time. I can see you didn't like it. I respect to ypur opinion thanks.

@iman pro Yes. It is MY biggest issue with it. My opinion is based off of my education, tutorage, and experience in graphic design which I been doing for more than a decade. The information is derived from lectures, books, and professors in the field of design.
Anyway, I digress. I really hope you realize different fonts does not mean different items (even a quick google search result will show you such: link. In fact, it’s very popular with the vintage logo designs (link. The reason why I point this out, is because it seems you put so much work into the rest of the box and decided just to throw everything into a corner. It doesn’t work well in terms of legibility and balance.
If need be, I will pull out my books to support my criticism due to the hostility behind responses I been seeing lately in comment sections when it comes to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I am not here to stroke people’s egos nor do I expect the same in return. I would think people who post on this site enjoy making boxarts and having the platform to show them, but I also think they would want to improve and learn from the experience. This is the reasoning why I made my account.
But, this general attitude of mine is just coming from pent up anger toward the shit I been seeing around lately. I am bothered by the fact that people take their time to actually give feedback, to only have it shit upon. And I’m not talking about the feedback like ‘good job’ or ‘you suck’. The latter is a shit type of comment and those type of people are the ones that suck—but there is nothing wrong with saying ‘good job’ unless it becomes a constant orchestra. Where do you learn if you react poorly to someone having a different opinion?
Generally, if someone says they like something and don’t like something, yes it is an opinion, but it exists because it is to give you another perspective. It’s the same kind of mentality in the design field, especially when you’re working with cliental in order to provide them satisfaction. When it comes to the subject here—it’s obvious you like doing videogame boxes and I have seen significant growth in your work but to dismiss the type of constructive comments that helped you ‘grow’ would be an insult to the people who want to see you continue to grow.

@iman pro you say that you respect constructive criticism, yet when I gave some on matin's ROTTR cover he reacted badly and then you and him purposely came and criticised my latest work, almost as if you were getting revenge. :/
[ Reply ]
@Bastart I mean many of designers here not all of them.

@TheTombRaider theres Criticism for every design I know cuz they are designers and the talk with experience, but sadly there is many people here who not designers and came here to say bulshits to show Themselves. for exmple that TheTombRaider user. I want to stay away but he making me to say him trues. that guy is nothing to me but what can I do when he call me on anyone else post ?
you all can see when this guy show up like now he come and show himself to say something out of subject. I can't see nothing worth being a designer inside him
and he haven't power of designing great covers so he start crying and beggary for fave cuz one of biggest designers here I mean my friend iman Criticism his cover and he said true about his Amateur boxart and he TombRaider couldn't take it ! grow up child.
that child need kind words and attention from other desingners for faves.
please everyone go and fave that child just maybe he stop crying and baggary. He needs you. he can't design a great cover.
in the end I say it cuz you did propaganda your amateur boxart. I suggest to other designer to judge between me and TheTombRaider latest box. pepole doing best judges . . .

@TheTombRaider
1. Why did you connected what you said in matin cover and what I said on your cover ?
2.Every comment not a "constructive criticism" I can recognize which comment are constructive criticism and which isn't.
3.Why I need getting revenge from you ? you did something with me What I didn't realized ? actually I'm not a implacable guy.
4.Please share your problem in another place. here I do like to see comments about cover and designs not personal problem.

@iman pro I'm not saying designing to make everyone happy. My criticism just lies in the fact I been seeing a lot of disrespect to those who give constructive feedback. People take their time to give feedback and give you an opinion—the least you can do is thank them and/or try to see why they gave such an opinion. It's just common courtesy.
My comment was winded, mainly because I feel like this has been a growing issue and wished to have a civilized discussion about the matter. I respect a lot of your designs, but lately I just haven't been respecting the attitude I've seen happening.

I really like the colors and sketch look on this.
I'd only suggest to remove the M rating from the front (it's really small and looks cramped) and move the Tango & Bethesda logo onto the back.

In my honest opinion, it doesn't really have a focus and the colours blur together. On the positive side, I love your font choices and the back is creepy. :)
