Here's my latest Satire Creation. And it's another from the Forum Threads as DMS said I should do a "Not Another Sonic/Shadow" box. --- However, I thought I'll make it slightly different... and as you can guess it's part based on The Terminator. ;) Plus.. I was watching the excellent trailer of "WANTED" movie and HAD to use those bullets! ;) Anyway... hope you like!

not one of your best, i get the idea, but find it kinda lame, especially the name "hedgetrimmer" sure it means hedgehog, but the first thing that comes to mind is cutting grass. also i think the roles should be reversed and someone should be trying to stop mario, because he is the biggest whore in videogaming. looks nice though!

I use "Hedgetrimmer" as I didn't want to use Terminator... and I didn't want any repetitive game related titles which everyone always use like mixing Brawl and Galaxy etc. in the title -- there are too many of those titles around. A Hedge Trimmer is obviously a device for "trimming hedges"... and as the box is about eliminating HEDGEhogs, you need a weapon to rid them... or TRIM them down to size -- hence Hedgetrimmer. And in the 3rd screenshot, you DO get to use the said weapon ;)

Fantastic image editing, the screenshot of Mario's head on Peach got a chuckle out of me. For the most part though the humor is a bit too obscure if you ask me.

Editing is amazing, renders looks crisp and clean. I don't really appreciate the joke (maybe it's just me,) but I'm stil faving for the pwnsome box.

Only thing Wrong that I notice is that you've left the "M" on Mario's hat instead of putting a "H" on in the screenshots.

I think you should've focused more on how many effortless sonic/shadow boxes are posted on VGBA on a daily basis (or at least that was what I thought when I suggested the idea) - to the point where it gets annoying, rather than focusing on the sonic franchise be milked. Sonic fans would obviously argue back with saying that the same happens to Mario (mario sports,party,e.t.c)
In any case your box still holds true, and the parallels between sonic and terminator are humourously done. Great stuff as always.

I can see you put alot of work into this. But I couldnt see this being a game, cause the color scheme doesnt fit well. If you fixed the color scheme it would look alot better. ;)

#21, Yeah... I noticed that after I posted it. DOH!! The Mario image was from Mario Golf, and he was holding a golf club, and it took me ages to edit it so he was holding a hedge trimmer that I totally forgot about it. I love that image... it just so reminds me of when Arnie grabs the chain-gun and Conner says that's you or something, and Arnie smiles ;)
#23, Yeah... I had to make it - lol --- and it was difficult to come up with something that wouldn't offend people who constantly post Sonic/Shadow boxes on here without getting too specific/personal ;) So decided to focus more on Sega's demise as a Hardware manufacturer.. and the fact that Sonic was actually created partly because Nintendo had a famous Mascot in Mario.... and obviously how would Sega change this... go back in time... hence the Terminator theme. ;)
#24, Errmm.... this will NEVER be a game anyway... shooting Sonic characters wouldn't happen.... hence why I never put the SEGA logo on it... and on the back it does say "Not endorsed by Sega" ;)

#25, Its the year 2008 marker anything can happen. Someone that use to work for sega could make this game if they got fired and was mad or something. If they were a pro at it that is.

I really do like this box.
However I am not as big a fan on Sonic as I am on Crash Bandicoot, so my opinion may (and probebly will) vary from the experts.
The box I feel is very eye-catching and it was that that caught my attention .
I am new to this site, so what programes would you recommend that I use to creat my first box?
