Holy ****. I'm glad you didn't wait to post this.
The slipcover portrays the golden, epic feel of FFIX while the box itself shows the adventurous side of FFIX.
I love you.

#8, Well that's uncalled for. This isn't a competition. I probably prefer this one too but it's not a fair comparison considering they use very different styles.
I want to thank LadyKiller for the box suggestion lol and the logo. Creative uncut for images and finalfantasyoddssey. Thanks EG For faving me as an author. and thanks for my 3rd HALL OF FAME!!! WOO
i'm not sure i like the box itself so much as the tin/coverslip, which looks really cool btw, but i don't really like the image used on the back cover's bg (i feel its both blurry and abstract which doesn't seem to tie in with the intricate design of the rest of the box) and as for the front, i don't care for the clutteredness comp of the characters, i think some other line art or illustration would fit rather than piled renders with glow
also the transparent layered art on top of the outside cover make it more interesting, but the colors of the images seem to conflict with their backing; i would suggest altering the color balance to match the warm/gold tone.
overall it's a wellmade box; don't take these crits as problems, i'm just throwing out things that seem like they could enhance the box significantly, but that's simply my opinion.
I'd like to see you take the slipcover and covert it into an Essence Collection addition. You could jazz it up a tad to make it work with the Essence-ness, but I'd love to see you give it a whirl.
That, and all the other Made-For-DVD-Cases FFIX boxes aren't print-worthy (asides from Pan's Essence box).
Awsome, I love both cases.
