Let me tell you about a little competition: link
The Midas Touch competition, in which we (The contestants) take horrid, embarrassingly bad, bastardizations of boxarts and then do our best to remake it to look decent. I had the blessing of doing none other than Hunter the Hedgehog's "Hunter the Hedgehog."

I thought "Certainly I could do better than a red background with Shadow on the cover." So I gave it a go. I did my best to draw a somewhat unique hedgehog to represent Hunter (Something that's nigh impossible. Christ people, why not use something OTHER than a fox, hedgehog, or echidna for your crappy fan characters? Oh right, because then you wouldn't have pictures that you could recolor in MSPaint and claim it as your own.)
I'm on a tangent, I apologize. I tried to spruce it up some, I guess we'll see Saturday if it was good enough for the first round.

I moved the logo to the bottom to hide the "No legs" problem, rather than fading them out. I feel this is a far better choice. I also forgot to give proper credits:
The template came from the templates only thread, contributed by Crayon Man.
I created the background from a screenshot of Sonic '06 I got from IGN (And I'm proud to announce that there is no IGN logo that can be found in this box.)
The ESRB logo and Sega logo both came from the materials thread that E_G started.

Its a good competition box but I dont know if you should of posted it or not?

To be honest, it's not great. The background isn't good. It doesn't fit with the style of Hunter. The logo is really bad. It's just text with a (really big) stroke. I'm sorry, but I don't like it. Good job making the Hunter, though.

Considering you had next to no materials to work with, I suppose you did a good job. Though I have to say, its kinda boring. But then again, theres the materials issue. Grah, its kinda a catch twenty-two, no?

You actually drew Hunter? -hides her shameful recolour of Shadow- Wicked drawing, looks awesome. It's strange that you posted it, it would have given me an advantage if I wasn't almost done. :P

ohh, i soooooooo badly gotta tell HtH about this, his real names Hunter Montgrand, he goes to my school, and we don't seem to be friends though... he even tried to knife me, lol
(note: if you saw, this box was modeled after his FIRST box, his newest one is... lacking something...)

Thanks for all the comments, folks, I had just assumed that we were to upload it (From what I've seen that seems to be the norm with competitions.) I feel foolish, now.
No real harm done, though. ShadySaiyan, I actually drew it in Photoshop, not Flash, with a tablet (Which is why it looks so smooth)

Steak, the reason why he done a Hunter The Hedgehog box is because he is doing a competition where people have to remake rubbish boxes so that they look good.
