Man, I'm really pissed. I wanted to make some last-minute changes and it turns out that the .psd file was corrupt, so I have no other choice but to upload it as it is.
I'm really proud with how this turned out, considering the severe lack of resources available.
Nice box. Front is cool.. title logo seems odd position ;) Back's great -- I really like the top half with the characters. The top left text is a little hard to read however.. prefer it it was more readable. Screenshots are okay... I always prefer max of 4 across --- however... cool box mate... and sorry about the corrupted file... had that happen to me a few times. :(
#1, That's why I save multiple copies of each project I work on at different stages. One set of PSDs in sequence for each part. eg. mybox-front-stage1.psd, mybox-presentation-stage1.psd, etc. That way I can always go back to a previous stage in the project if I have to. I'm sure this doesn't really help you NOW, but it could be useful in the future. Saved me from quite a few *facepalm*s.
The back is excellent and it brings out the feeling of the game. I agree the logo is oddly placed and NTSC versions of ICO came on CD ROM not DVD ROM but that's just me being picky :)
You know, it certainly doesn't take much to surpass the quality of the US boxart, but regardless, you've done a wonderful job of complementing the beautiful vibe that ICO gives off. It's nice to see someone do justice to one of my favorite games of all time.
