To continue my "Different" box collection... here's my Samurai Shodown for the original Neo Geo MVS.. not only one of the most expensive machines at the time (cartridges were around £100 each) but boxes were huge ;) I didn't like the Japanses OR US boxes.. so my box is a little mix of both and some of my input too :) Well, Samurai Shodown II is possibly one of the best fighters ever... certainly one of the most balanced... even breaking the opponent's sword so you have to fight with your fists.. it was still pretty even. Anyway.. hope you like... best in full... and roll on to my next 'different' box ;)

Yay I remember the original NEO GEO. The cartridges were the size of buses :) This is superb work.

Thanks guys :)
#3, the main images for the front are from some custom Neo Geo boxes which are made from the original Neo Geo Arcade flyers. Found here at:
link
Unfortunately, I couldn't find original flyers in hi-res, so it had to edit the customs, like clone 'H's left shoulder/arm to right... draw in everything under his chin (since the original Japanese logo was there), draw in more hair, and redo a lot of the girl.

#6, yeah... lol -- I was gonna use the display only for the "What's gunna happen' comp., but that soon ended. :(

#9: Awesome job yet again sir. One of my old roommates was a huge fan of this series. You're explanation on restoring/remastering the images is kinda cool... almost feels like the magician explaining one of his tricks. =)

Funny, the last box I faved was also a 2D fighter. This looks really nice, I faved even though you don't need it. :3

It's so ugly, it makes me want to hurl! >:O

Great one once again MARKER. 10/5! Did you create the 3d box temp?

Man, how will my boxes ever look good if you're always making masterpieces like this?

Quite possibly my favorite 2D fighting game ever.

I remember spending a good chunk of my allowance as a kid, just so I could play this in the arcades with friends after school. xD This box certainly does it justice. Awesome job as always. ;)

#15, Woo... someone that knows what fighting games are all about! LOL --- there were a few to chose from for the Neo Geo, and I have to admit it's one of my faves -- definitely the best of the series. My Favourite 2D fighter would probably Street Fighter II Zero (Alpha) 2 however. ;)
