ahh, I used to love this movie, sadly s time went my love faded and now its more of a , 'meh, might as well', but this box is amazing and it has a fantastic creepy vibe! well done!
#5, Actually, I find it insulting that you say that. Yes, he bases most of his work on official wallpapers and such, but that's what movie boxes are. And it's not against the rules in any way to use them. I admit it doesn't take as much creativity to use images as they exist and put a template over them, but he doesn't just slap it onto a template and call it done.
#5 & #6, I'm going to voice my opinion on this, because I do this mostly. In my eyes, I don't see it necessary to actually create a cover myself, when there is sufficient artwork present that fits the front nicely. Yes, I'm lazy, but I'm also smart. If there is artwork that I come across for a Video Game, that has not been used the way I use it or plan on using it, I use it. If it has already been used, I try changing at least something about to make it look distinctive. If I'm not copying and pasting Promotional Art. you will often times find me bundling renders together. I didn't say that I was proud of this either, but it gets the job done.
Sometimes boxes are not always about how hard you worked or how long you worked on them, (even though I admire that), but it's also based around how smart an artist is to use specific art, or re-arrange art in a way to make it distinctive.
its not bad but when i look at the credits i just go ahhhh 1408 lol since im so into the little details if you want i got the back credits for this movie i can send them to you if you want lol

No, its just really fucking ridiculous. You don't know how to design a box art. All your art is wallpapers and posters.
