#4, Haha, it's purely coincidental. I love his films. I think Fight Club is his best, followed by BB then Se7en. Zodiac was amazing though, but to compare with Fight Club and Se7en is too hard.
I adore Fight Club for its gritty violence, showing the creepy homoerotic undertones in male bonding and generally being a mindfuck of a movie. However, Zodiac is his most mature film in terms of pacing, mood, themes and direction. To each his own, I guess. ;)
Incidentally, Fincher was the creative consultant behind the "Madworld" ad for Gears of War - perhaps one of the best game adverts ever.
Amazing as always Dan. I'm partial to Seven myself, but I agree with #4 that Zodiac was the masterworks of Mr. Fincher, as said earlier, for the atmosphere and maturity of the film.
David Fincher. One of my all-time favourite directors. Amazing work he has done.
I wanted to do a box-set in the vein of other Criterion box-sets.
Enjoy!

@#2, Benjamin Button isn't Fincher's best film. In fact, I'd say it is one of his lesser films. A gorgeously shot, technically brilliant film though.
Zodiac is Fincher's masterpeice. It deserved the academy award for best picture in 2007, IMO. Fight Club and Seven come next for me.
As for you El - your tastes and mine are too close for comfort lol. Great box, it reminds me of the Criterion compilations and their eclipse series.

#6, Haha yeah. I loved Robert Downey Jr's performance in it.
Yeah, saw that ad. It was amazing. He should direct the movie adaptation.
