#13, Criterion is a group that releases their own editions of classic and contemporary films that are deemed "important" viewing. They are generally movies that exhibit ground-breaking directing, writing or cinematography. These are the movies you'd probably watch if you were going to film school. link

I understand the whole good movie selection but what do you mean by "their own editions"... did they remake the movie or something?
