#2, I used the old shows because the new shows are crap (excepting Chowder, Flapjack, Secret Saturdays, Penguins, etc.). Also, i didn't have much to add to the box (i didn't have an arena BG, i didn't have the PS3 Back boxart template), I just copied and pasted just like you said. But I think i still did a good job for a 1st
#4, yes i did, i just removed the WWE sign and replaced the "Smackdown" logo with Cartoon Network, and the "RAW" logo with Nick's logo (you can see the black edges behind the Nick logo when I tried to remove RAW)
Not a bad idea... just not a great execution, either.
I understand this is your first box and all, but it has too many problems to ignore.
All the characters are blurry and out of focus, there isn't a background, the characters are just standing in the middle of nothing, the composition is very basic, you have things going on like Aang's fist in El Tigre, the logo is pretty irking... I'd go on, but I think the point is made.
My first recommendation? Look at other attempts at making crossover covers and attempt to emulate them. My personal favorite is Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, (link) although the most recent Tatsunoko vs Capcom is simple enough to get some ideas.
Something quick I did on Paint.Net. My first boxart so I think i started in a good start

5 of 8 of those characters do not have a show anymore. Also, this is just a copy and paste really. I guess its good for your first box though.
