And here it is! My big 'comeback' box! Sonic of course.
The majority of the site will be scratching their heads thinking "Eh? Whats Sonic X-treme?"... Well it is not a game I just made up, it was a game intended for release on the Sega Saturn before it was cancelled. It would of been Sonic's first fully 3D platformer game. Here is a brief summary:
"Sonic X-treme is a shelved platform game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It was originally developed by Sega for the Mega Drive/Genesis but was moved to the Sega 32X and eventually to the Sega Saturn and intended to be released around Halloween of 1996, but after many problems and a long hiatus of development hell, it was finally cancelled in 1997. Had it been finished, it would have been the first fully 3D Sonic game and the first original Sonic title developed for the Sega Saturn. Because the game was cancelled, Sega released a port of Sonic 3D Blast for the Saturn in 1996."

#6 I used the screenshot borders because if you read the game synopsis, it is about the six magical rings of order. I just thought it sorta suited. Thanks for the comment though :)
I remember hearing about this game years ago, shame they canned it cos it looked alright. Nice one though dude, very well executed. I'm glad you chose this title as a comeback box, makes it quite unique in my opinion.
#22 It's okay man, I understand. You're young, your not into that whole retro thing. You wasn't alive during the 'hey-day' of video gaming and therefore have lost your ways.
Speak to some older members like me or Drakxxx or lil GrahamZ, we dig retroness :)
It's well-made. I especially like how everything looks like it's got depth (Like early episodes of South Park had shadows from the pieces of construction paper.) It's definitely a nice box, but I never really liked the visuals of Sonic X-Treme, and I always found the "3D" Sonic images unappealing. Considering what you're working with, though, you did really well.

Great box, has your signature style, but I'm not sure if I like the screenshot borders you used. Awesome anyway. Diggin' the front especially.

The colors and design are awesome. So did Sega release art for the game or is this art from Sonic 3D Blast?
Great comeback box BTW!
