Wanted this to be like Mariolee's Galaxy box.
(I know, I know, Silhouettes.... go ahead and kill me)
But I duno,... I also needed a Sunshine box.
So here we go... =/ not my best.

Silhouettes!!
At least the silhouettes are filled with water. I like the feel of it. Though not seeing a regular Mario on the front was a little depressing. But it does have a nice crisp visual style.

Cut it out from the official. And how many times do I have to tell you, if you can't find high res artwork, WORK AT 200 DPI, it looks the same when printed.

It looks much better now. Now everything looks fine, but you should find a more subtle way of marking your boxes, rather than a big logo with your face and name on it.

I love the box and love the Essence template (its simplicity is win), but I don't think the box is Essence. I know the game is based around water, but it is also based around the goop...maybe incorporate that into it? Fav'd anyway :)
Just one flaw: E. Gadd's creation is called F.L.U.D.D., not F.L.O.O.D.

#16, Putting more work into something doesn't make it better. Often people don't like hand drawn boxes because they look unofficial or unprofessional. Stuff like this on the other hand, looks legit.
While I love it, I have to say I think I'd rather Mario be on the cover in full form, rather than a water-silhouette, it just seems weird without him on it.

God I cannot WAIT until Essence boxes die their eventual and highly needed painful death and we can go back to seeing boxes that actually look as if they actually have valid design ideas behind them, and weren't just thrown together by someone with a severely wrong idea of what a cover design should be.

#20, Here is what you do, print out this box, take a sharpie and write over all the 'essence" text, and pretend it's a normal box.
Just FORGET what "essence" means or is supposed to mean and focus on the actual design.

#21, I am focusing on the design. I think the design sucks. Even without an Essence logo, just looking at it as a minimalistic box, it still sucks. I really don't like anything about it, at all.
