A sister boxart to my previous Pan's Labyrinth cover, which you can find here:http://vgboxart.com/view/29951/pans.labyrinth/?replies=17
I liked Draxxx's comment about going for a similar look for the devil's backbone, and the result is this. The major difference between this box and "Pan" is that the artwork on the front cover of that box is that of Mike Mignola while over here is my own custom creation. I carefully studied the high-contrast rendering style of Mr.Mignola to create this. All in all, I'm happy with the result.
P.S. There are also some subtly integrated motifs (just like Pan's) for which you'd require a good monitor. ;)
Hope you folks like it!
A perfect companion piece sir. The blue color of your Pan's design compliments the red of this one perfectly. The custom work is spot on excellent as well.
I agree with Clink sir. A design in this fashion for Cronos would complete your Del Toro collection. I remember reading awhile ago that the film was going to be released under Criterion. I can imagine a design similar to this in yellows or gold, with the scarab as the center piece.
I always had a sick obsession with your Pan's Labyrinth box, so just on principle alone I have to favorite this. It does help that this totally awesome as well.

Great work but that can always be expected from you!

It is a sin that this isn't in the hall of Fame yet.

God, I love Guillermo Del Toro. I've got this on my Netflix instant queue but I haven't gotten around to watching it.
Oh, and this box should be in the MasterWorks section.
