My entry into the second round of the Octoberfest competetion, them was Duality so I went for Good & Evil.
My idea was to have a character on the front portraying good, with his trusty side-kick dog and a charming burrow as a background with a flowing like leaf brush texture in the form of one of his powers. The back portrays the evil version of the character, red magic portraying evil spells and aiming at the king's portrait, showing what he wants most.
I also added in some textures and a ton of brushwork such as Swirls and weathered brushes for an old book like effect.
#3, Thanks, I put a ton of work into it, maybe 40+ hours in total as I had to plan it, work with that guide and render, though that didn't really take long.
The brushwork took the most time, something I'm definately using again as it helps the overall design and gives me more options.
#7, Printable's just uploading.
#8, Thanks, I was hoping this would be a step up for me.
#9, Thanks, printable's up.
#10, Magnum opus, I like that word, Glad you like it.
What format do you export your image as? The quality seems somewhat deteriorated and compressed. You should use a lossless image format like BMPs or PNGs.
