i think the scroll and the scrunched up paper in the back cover ruined it
and whats with the background in the front
it should be more colourful and mario based
yes it did
some other guy put a paper effect on his paper mario box
and someone told him to take it off because it ruined it
and your only a rank 1 and i'm a highere rank than you so i think he should take my advice and loosen the paper
#12, Favs mean absolutely nothing. People give faves out for really small and minor reasons. Rarely do people give faves because they actually like the box.
On the box, its not a bad first box. You have the basic layout down, now you need to work on making it look better. The front really could use a better background. The one you have is perfectly fine, but it makes the renders/cutouts of Mario and Peach floating, where as a background from the game, could make them look like they were jumping. On the back you should try having a better background, again. good luck with your next box.
#14, Is this okay? I couldn't change the front very much, the logo and the characters were merged with the background, and I didn't feel like doing it all over again. I changed the grey dull color, though, and the back too.
Dang, if you only had the PSD or didn't merge the layers together, you could've ironed it out. I mean the front isn't bad but if you searched a little more you might've found more renders of things like trees and other background scenery, or you could even cut it out from other things like wallpapers. I'm sorry but the grunge brushes don't work in Paper Mario's art style because it well, isn't Paper Mario's art style.
As for the back, well let's say the font choices aren't perfect. They stand out a little too much so that it doesn't fit with the rest of the box, but I guess the one on the scroll is okay...
Everything else seems fine though, so if you ever want to come back to that feel free to take my advice (or not). :3
My new box! It took less time than my previous box, but it still turned out better. MUCH better. Enjoy!
