Template by me, yadda yadda.
Mario on the front is a conjoined image of a Rabbid and the SM64DS artwork.
The castle is an edited Peach's castle from SM64.
Fire Mario and Koopa are edited from Fantendo.
I'd forgotten to reply in the WIP thread, so I apologize for that.
I like this new version, and the shading is the most prominent issue now. I'd reduce Mario's shadow, to better give the illusion that he's flying. It's size makes him look just a few feet off the ground. I'd also recommend getting rid of his shadow against the castle, as it again makes him look too close.
The back's good. I would have reduced the amount of text, and thrown some screenshots in, but it's not necessary.
the templates spine a s a big "fat" (guess that's the best word for it) and it's a rather bland design, but it's very well executed.
I'd add some screens on the back and remove some of the text in return. I would also make sure the base of the "2" is a straight one, because now it looks more like some mistake during designing the logo. While you are at it try to make sure the upper bow of the "2" does not end over the top edge of "super mario".
The headlines font on the back should be the same as on the front (logo) and the text on the spine could stand out a bit more.

Rest is my own work. Enjoy.

#2, Thank you! I thought something was missing from the back.
I'll look into these issues soon.

Very interesting, the back doesn't seem to be of my tastes however.

#6, that's how Game Boy templates look like.

#7, you should check your eyes than. they sure are wider as a dvd case, but not as much as the spine here.

When I saw this, I saw a flashback to my childhood.
