I've been losing interest in this site more and more quickly by the day, but I haven't lost interest in box art entirely yet. I was watching some reviews of this game yesterday, and I thought a design based around 1940s movie posters would work well, so I based the front off of a combination of a couple. The rest I just wanted a really simple look too it, and the simple/boring font choice was to go with the old school look of everything else.
This is really great. I love what you did with the art and it does look quite period. However, I don't like the effect on the pictures on the front that doesn't carry through to the back. It messes up the continuity a bit. Overall though, I really like this.
I love it, I just don't like the head of the man has been cut off a bit (front), and the font you're using on the folder too (back). Overall, great work!
#12, I'm pretty sure color photography existed by the 1940s. Thanks for the input everyone, a new update will be coming with a new font and adjusted text.
A hall of fame? In this day and age? Funny thing is, I thought no one would like this box. Anyway, thanks everyone for the support, the update I promised is up so hopefully everything looks perfect now.

Front looks great, back as well except I'm not keen on the slanted text. I think straight yellow text would look better.

#4, Yellow text was a good idea, but it doesn't look as good with straight text, also the curved text matches the logo on the front. Updated.

The front captures it well. But the back is off. I don't think the typefaces on the back agree well with the design...

Wouldn't photos at the time be black and white?

The whole thing is top notch!
The only thing that ruins it is the low res brush you used on the back.

I can't say anything about this that isn't obvious. It's a great concept executed flawlessly. Spectacularly done, Pan.

If you have photoshop, convert the printable to a PDF file, and then print it trough photoshop. That always works for me.
