Nice try for a beginner. But there is some problem with your work. First of all theres no ESRB logo, theres no company logo like Nintendo, the whole box art is too wide. If you want some idea on how it should look go here ......> link

And Welcome to the site, you will get better in time. And use the program Call Photoshop Cs5.

Welcome to the site, first, there are many problems with the box.

Problems:
The 2 is blurry and hard to read.
The Entire box is crushed vertically, and the pipe is smashed horizontally.
The renders are choppy, meaning blurry, pixelated and have white, or other colors around them. If you don't know what a render is, it is the picture of the character (In this case Mario, Koopa, Bullets.). The logo is very choppy too, and smashed. The clouds are simple white blotches, use a different background. The template is cut out badly, and not even the real 3DS template.

Here are some templates with the correct size, made by our members: link

That is also the general resource section, where you can find Renders, Logos, Templates and Screenborders for Screenshots(If you have any).

Next time, post on the Critiques/Work in Progress section here: link

If you don't see the render, template, or logo you want in the resource section here on the site, check if it's on the forums here: link

If it isn't there either, request it here: link

I hope this helps you with further box submission and making. Feel free to send me a message if you need help. I am also happy to tutor you in box making!

Oh yeah, and don't use Microsoft Paint to make your boxes. Use the following programs: (Don't worry, they are virus free!)

Gimp - link
A free and easy image manipulator. I use it myself :)

Photoshop - link
DOES cost money, but it is a fantastic image manipulator!

Paint.NET - link
Also a free and easy image manipulator.

One more thing, NEVER save your image as a .jpg or .jpeg, that ruins the quality of the image! save it as .png :)

#3, He's right. Take a look around the site and check out the hall of fame and masterworks pages at the top of the screen to see the standard we have around here
