MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT VERSION 1, THE "DARK" VERSION OF THE BOX.
I've been working on this for some time now. Version 1 is the alternate, or "Dark" version of the box. All screenshots were taken by me in Minecraft. The lake in the "Light" version is the same lake in the "Dark" version, I just filled it with lava. (Which, surprisingly, took a really long time) I'm really happy with how it all turned out, and I was especially happy when I found out that it fit the Theme of the Month perfectly.
Looking good, and it seems to portray Minecraft very well. That was one of the biggest problems with me in trying to make a Minecraft box, and you did a great job here.
I don't see why you could just put the two versions on one image, but cool. You could of had the friends mob (NPCs) in the village in the day, and the hostile ones in the night. It's also cool if you made the village, but it was pointless now (and hard to tell if you did) with 1.8/1.9 out. Also a larger village, that is all.
So you made this yourself, in-game? The creations spanning the landscape nicely represent what Minecraft is all about and the possibilities within. Nice work.
#8, When you start up Minecraft, on the main menu there's always some text by the logo in the same style as I have it there. It's usually some witty line. Two of them that I have seen the most is "Woo, /v/!" and "Woo, Faceounch!" so I decided to change it up with VGBA. It's my attempt at being clever.
I wish you'd try a normal box. This box isn't aesthetically pleasing at all in my opinion. I can't imagine a box art that's nothing but screenshots, and the presentation is extremely boring. It actually detracts from the box.
It isn't the most appealing box, but it does a great job of showing us the world, and I can also see all the effort you put into it. For that reason, you get a fav.
Woo, VGBA!

The background is nice and crisp, reflecting well the game, but the Woo VGBA bugs me, and does not seems to be at its place. Nice one.
