I had to make a box for my favorite game of all time, so I set out on it. I think it turned out fantastic (biased opinion). I used a couple pieces of official art and everything else is basically brushes. Anyway, let me know how much you like this in the comments section below.

I do think that with the official template this would look a lot better. I don't see the reason to use this template.

The black of the template took away from the light colors of the box.

A normal template would look better, but it is pretty gorgeous as it is. If this doesn't get Hof I don't know what I'll do.

Pretty fantastic design ~ if you don't mind which halftone brushes did you use? I'm working on a MGS3 design as well and was trying to make my own pattern, but it don't look too good.

I'm trying to find the time to sit down and actually implement the real template, because I would need to change the layout on the back. I'll try asap, I'm just busy with school atm.

If you consider how you composed the box, it's not that impressive although that's not the point. The front is great, however I suggest you enlarge the art of Big Boss, remove the snake and lower the logo so it overlaps the artwork.
Also, I think it'll help if you change templates back to official.

Not a fan of the games. But I am a fan of this cover. Awesome! But still would of been good to see it in at least the PS3 sized game case I think...
