Illusion of Gaia is not only one of the most obscure games of my SNES collection, it is also one of my most favorite childhood games by far. It was given to me when I was 7 and I initially fell for it because it reminded me so much of Zelda. But as I made my way through this globe trotting adventure, the more it stood out on it's own and the more I loved it. If you'd like to learn more about the game, I recommend reading this review ( link ).
As for the design itself, there was very little source material to work with. I used some illustrations from deviantart for the front image (original artists ICEO208 and KAIGETSUDO, link ). I based the vertical template design on the covers available at customgamecases.com with some minor alterations.
Thanks to Higashi89 for encouraging me to do this cover. Hope there are others who appreciate this Hidden Jewel.

Whilst i'm not a fan of vertical temps for Western SNES covers, i do like what you've done here. The only thing i would have done is toyed with the brightness/contrast settings on the logo to help match it to the artwork a little more. Otherwise, everything fits well here, good work.
And nice choice of game too. I also have this game in my collection and its fantastic.

I see what you mean about the logo. I originally did try playing around with the settings and some filters, trying to make it look more consistent with the rest of the art. I didn't get any results I was happy with though, so I left it as you see it now. I will update it in the future though if I'm able to fix it up.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the cover and the game..
