Dang, that's good. The only gripe I have is that you should have the text on the back with the same style as the one on the front or viceversa. Other than that, awesome job.
@AgentLampshade jussayin' dude; in my opinion every cover should have a system template, rating and developer on them; otherwise you've just made a couple of posters.
This is clearly supposed to be a simplistic design, and all the things listed would ruin it, or at least take away the simplistic feel. So in a way, I can see why they're not present.
I agree. Certain elements can reasonably be omitted depending on the project. Do not constrain yourself to a small window of options. Do as you please to get the result you want, there are not rules in art.
I love this. The use of vertical lines and circles is so pleasing. I do wish the back tagline was done like the front logo however. It seems too busy for this box as it is. My guess is that it may not have read as clearly as you'd want it without the black effects, so maybe putting it on the bottom as you did with the logo will help?

I agree with FrankBedbroken about the text, but overall it looks amazing.

It looks nice and all, but it lacks pretty much everything that defines something as a video game box art.

Arbitrary guidelines can fuck right off.

If you can print it off, and have it fit into a plastic template, it's a cover.

Like I said, just my opinion.
I just think when you make a video game boxart it should look like a real video game boxart.
