Hey
I saw this movie yesterday and decided I'd make a box for it. I've abandoned different versions of it and finally come to a version that I think I like.
A lot of it is actually made of screenshots from my computer, to match the theme of the movie. Then I've added static effects to screenshots from the movie, made the logo and made the Skype message boxes, recreated from the movie.
Constructive criticism is appreciated, thanks for looking!

The title and tagline hurts my eyes.

It's because of the 3D-sort of effect I have on the text, I did that to create the idea of static and malfunctioning. Still, I completely understand what you mean.

This seems like the type of movie that I would hate.
Nice box, though. Very fitting to the theme of the movie.

I loved it, I thought it was brilliant.
Thanks Frank ;)

Pretty cool, I imagine it works pretty well with the theme of the movie. I think maybe the description box on the back cover could of benefited from a gradient overlay because at the moment it stands out and looks a little boring, but apart from that really solid design looks really professional.

Thanks Paper :)
Yeah, I know what you mean about the text box on the back. I wanted to recreate the Skype message boxes, and keep them faithful to the original look, therefore I didn't add a gradient.

@TheTombRaider If maybe the movie wasn't all on skype it might of been entertaining lol

@AnaRchyxV2x Haha, that's what I really liked about it. I thought it was clever. Anyway, what you talking about? It's not all on Skype, there's Chrome, Spotify, iMessage, etc. ;) lol

@TheTombRaider oh pshhh. lol. I pointed that out when me and my gf saw it. I leaned over and was like "Shes using Chrome" lmao

I dont really like this for some reason... I mean its fine and I can see you put quite a lot of thought and effort into this.
But imo it doesnt look like a dvd box, if that makes sense. I think if you had more official DVD / Blu-ray stuff on the template, or if you could make the edges of the case stand out better I may feel different. At the moment it all kinda merges.
Also it also kinda bugs me that there are really HD Mac parts that you would have screenshotted. Like the tool bars at the top and app bar at the bottom. Mixed with really bulrry, not HD at all images from the movie.

That's okay Vince
The reason I don't have legal information on there is because it's a slip case.. Probably should have mentioned that.
Also, the reason the screenshots don't look very high res is because of the effects I put on them, to represent breaking up and static.
Still, I completely see what you mean.

@TheTombRaider Fair enough, it makes more sense it being a slip case. I personally think it may look better with the original images though :)

Windows users got offended by this Mac OS indulced design \o/

I like it, the overall motif keeps in tone with the movie. Although the repeated image, from the front, onto the spine seems a little unnecessary. Moreover I do like the back and the idea to include the description as a message is creative and suits it, but I really feel like there could be a little more done in exploration of this theme.
