Here's my first criterion box: Carol Reed's "The Third Man". This is one of my favorite films in the Criterion collection. Every frame of this movie is like a work of art. If you've not seen it yet, I'd recommend it highly.
With this box I'm trying something new which I'm calling "VGB OpenSource". The project file for this box (in Photoshop .PSD format) is being made available for you to download, examine and deconstruct for use in your own work. All I ask is that you use this resource to create new projects and not simply upload a modified "The Third Man" box. This is a big experiment for me so let's see how it goes and if you all think it's a good idea I will continue to release boxes under opensource... hopefully other artists will too. I see it as a great opportunity for all of us to improve our techniques and become better artists together. :)

Too bad I can't try VGBA Open Source because I have PDN :(.

Amazing film, and an extremely accurate and graphically flawless Criterion box.

Oh god, can't believe I missed this. Absolutely brilliant box.
Personally, I much prefer this to Citizen Kane.
