Well, I wasn't going to upload this box but I decided I might as well. I made this for my girlfriend (this is her favorite movie) and I wanted to do it in a french poster style. So..this is it.
#3, I felt the same way. That real pictures suit the criterion style. That is also the reason I almost didn't post this, though. Granted, I did recreate it, but 90% of it isn't original and I guess it could be considered plagiarism.
You know, i really never liked this movie much, just couldn't get into it. But looking at this box, i think i should go back and give it a chance. Great simple French artistic style, very reminisant (sorry for spelling!) of that time period and for that sort of show.
Great work. I'm almost inspired to do my own Criterion boxart.

I like the way you used the Toulouse-Lautrec picture (link) for your cover . I think using real pictures suits the criterion style really well.

Magnifique!
It would've been mindblowing if you had edited the faces on the front cover slightly to resemble nicole kidman and evan mcgregor.

Man, that would have been sweet. Too bad I didn't think of it haha.

BTW who was the guy in your previous avatar? it looked like alan rickman as snape or septimus from Stardust. Can't lay my finger on it, lol.
